02:30 pm - And so
I have discovered that I'm having a problem with words.
Coherently stringing them together that is. I have lots running around in my brain and I can't seem to get those thoughts turned into words on the page (or screen as it may be). This goes for comments as well. I write down sentences and paragraphs and then re-read them (as I do before I click post) and I realize that those words do not in any way convey what my thoughts are. This means that my journal stays quiet and I start to slip from those around me for lack of contact. Not what I want but right now the words just aren't there.
The pictures however seem to be. I have spent the bulk of today working on the photos from August 12 and might just be able to start tackling Aug 18 today as well. As an early birthday present![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
cluegirl got me a Wacom Graphire 4 tablet. It took some getting used to but now I'm finding that I am more than twice as fast with editing as I was. Having grown up when you learned pen and ink, this method of working is much faster for me. I know that for the generation of learning to mouse before they learned to hold a pen that may not be the case but well, when I was at that point mice had 4 feet and tail and computers took up buildings. That and I had to walk 4 miles, uphill, in the snow, both ways and we didn't have books, we had to carry stone tablets and chissels...
Ah well, back to work with me. Expect the link to Aug 12 up tonight and with luck, Aug 18 as well.
