04:41 pm - Ah yes
quite the productive weekend.
On Friday, the last of my book cases was delivered, so we planned the weekend around getting my office back in shape. We did end up going out for dinner since my message took longer than anticipated. We also waited longer to eat than we expected. For those of you in the Capital District... if you're going to P.F. Changs, either make reservations or plan on a two hour wait. We decided on The Cheesecake Factory instead as the wait was significantly less. Came home and spent a bit of time online before bed.
Saturday was the first day in a month that we got to sleep in and it was a glorious thing. I needed the rest and so did Clue. We had porage for breakfast while we watched a little HGTV, then got started on my office. All but one of the large plastic tubs have been emptied and that has photos I need to put in drop binders for the filing cabinet. I've started on the smaller bins and that's going well. After passing the major hurdle, we took off for errands. Picture frames at Kirklands (and JoAnne's), glass balls for the dining room window, stockings for Clue, a tealight warmed gravy boat, a charger caddy and table to put it on later, we were done with people and set off for home. I put the table together and set up the charger caddy while Clue took care of dinner prep. After dinner was some online chatting and CoH.
Today we'd planned to go to Yoga... lovely plan that. Woke up at 10:00 again. Went to PJ's for breakfast and to wait for a client that never arrived for Clue. Off to a Fantasy bookstore, then the grocery and then home. Broke out the lawn mower to mulch some of the leaves while Clue raked the other section. Leaves to the mulch pile and then in. There is something terribly wrong about raking leaves in the middle of November... I'm supposed to be done with that in October. Additionally, the trees should not still have at least half their leaves. Oh well, we go with what is.
Now I'm sitting here with a cup of fortified cocoa and planning on doing some of the Arisia work I signed up to do. Later will be the exerbike.
It's been a good weekend.
